Although the Blog-Writing Muse has not graced me with her presence very much lately, the Garden-Muse has. Every morning, in fact.
This past week, we have begun to imbibe in gourmet greens. I like to toss them with balsamic dressing, crumbled feta, and maybe a slice of tomato. Of course, this little meal will rise to new heights when REAL tomatoes are in hand.
Also on the garden-meal docket: sugar-snap peas. Oh my goodness. One can't even begin to compare those evil soggy nasty-tasting canned things ( that go by the name of "peas"!!) to what we steam lightly, swirl with butter, and eat while swooning.
And that's all I've got to say about that.
